The place was clean and the staff friendly. However, their meals were smaller than anticipated and they were out of a couple of items, like onion rings, before the supper rush had hardly started. Their sundae menu also left a lot to be desired. Will be awhile before going back.
Always great food. An Indiana staple. Fun to take out of state friends there like we did tonight.
I'll take the manager's suggestion and not go back.
Manager said my 100$ dollar bill was fake. It was a new 100, he held it up to the light saw the small face in the background, but he then stuck it under a light and said the seal strip was red and should be green. If you are a manager you should be able to tell the difference between real and fake money.
UPDATE: The following morning day shift manager called to follow up on my complaint. She said "I'm pretty sure a real 100 dollar bill will turn red and a fake 100 will turn green". I said "what do you mean -"pretty sure?"- If you're a manager you must be 100% sure on how to operate a machine that shows the difference between real and fake money.
Poor service - server never checked back at the table after delivering the food. Dirty floors tables missing condiments. Management was rude and told us if we were not happy not to blame them and that we didn't need to come back.
This location has been known for continuing problems with service, cleanliness, and food quality.
Manager was a pedophialla.. served underage girls before they even seated me. They literally got their food before I got my drink and I showed up before then. He was all over them but totally ignored me. Terrible service. Never will come back to this location. The manager will probably get throat punched for this...
