The Car was sold to us under false pretenses. We bought the car and within 3 days the vehicle needed 1500 dollars worth of internal engine work and has been a nightmare ever since. It was advertised with new tires, yet after taking it in for an alignment we found cords showing on the insides of the rear tires. They attempted to make it right by helping with $500 dollars of the first big repair, which was appreciated but after investing $2500 and a set of actually new tires into a vehicle that's only worth 8k we have realized that we got burned by Stewart Motors. Will not be coming back nor referring them to anyone.
Bought a 1979 GMC Caballero Laredo. I was told it only needed a tune up, had 83k miles, and had the 350 motor in it. Turns out its a 305 motor, possibly has 183k miles from what the motor looks like, and needs a lot more than just a tune up, which I've already done. It died a couple months ago and I just now got it running, but it's misfiring even with brand new plugs and wires. Not worth what I paid for it, and I've put way too much $$$ into it already to get what I paid for out of it if I sell it.
The owner worked with us on getting the truck that we needed at a good price! He was very friendly and professional!
UPDATE: 3 weeks later, I got it running great with no misfires and drove it for 4 days before my transmission completely went out. It will no longer shift into drive... $2,000 replacement, after I've put $1,000 worth of parts in it and paid $3,000 for the car itself. Seriously, stay away from this place.
Great Dealer. doesn't bother you with phone calls unless he has found a car that you want. Found me much better of a car for my budget than i ever expected. Other dealers offered me for the same budget cars 5 years older with twice the miles. Recommend! I just told him what kind of car i was looking for and he found exactly what i needed!!
