NEVER GOING BACK! I went with 2 of my girlfriends for a relaxing day of pampering and only one came out happy. I got a pedicure and the woman started out giving a great massage then just got tired and started rushing to get done. She brought out two hot towels to wrap my legs and the towels were FAR too hot and burned me. While she was painting my toes, she asked if I wanted a flower on my toes. I felt it looked bare so I agreed thinking it was going to be about 5 or 6 dollars. No, it was 12 dollars, which I didn't find out until I was about to pay. I was astonished at the price and not happy with the flower either. My friend went to get a manicure after some nail polish stained her nails yellow, the manicurist assured her that she could get rid of the stain and give her french tips (which was more expensive), so now she has to paint over the french manicure she just got because her nails are still yellow. I went because they came highly recommended by a friend of the family. But never again will I go back.
I typically go to Ivy Nails, which I recommend. I went today because Ivy was closed. My mom and I got manicures, gel fills. First, the man doing my nails kept twisting my fingers. It hurt! He used what he says was gel polish, but it was a brand I'd never heard of and the paint job he did was horrendous. I've seen children paint nails better. Then when I accidentially bumped my nail on the dryer, caused a huge mess, he got crappy about having to re-paint one nail. He should have been fine because all 10 of them looked like crap. When it came time to pay.... there was $4 charge we couldn't figure out and the "gel" mani won't last 3 weeks like they do for us from Ivy. I'll be lucky if it lasts 2 weeks. I'm extremely disappointed. Don't waste your money!!! Just dont! Go to Ivy's instead! yes, they charge a bit more ($5 maybe), but your mani will look great.
