During our stay, the hotel was being renovated. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was what you would expect. The staff was friendly and kind too.
The room is tidy and cleaned, but there is only so much you can do with an old room. Still it was nice to have a microwave and a mini fridge. Oh we got a whirl pool tub. It is amazing. The breakfast isn't anything fancy, but it isn't disgusting. What I will say for this hotel is that what they lack in fanciness, they make up for in spades with their wonderful customer service. The staff is helpful, sweet, and welcoming.
OHIO STATE fans were there to see them win Big Ten championship hotel was full but great service room recently refurbished great job and continental breakfast was great a well maintained.
They were under remodel at the time we went, wouldve been nice to have known that ahead of time. It looked like mold had been growing inside the room by the windows for years! Wasnt impressed by the breakfast buffet either. They lady managing it was on her phone and acted like we were a huge bother when a crowd came down around 9am to eat. Wont go back.
The evening before I went to sleep I found one bug which didn't concern me too awful much. The next morning I got up and there was a bug crawling by my shoes another one crawling in the bathroom one on the wall and the more I looked the more I found I immediately went to get the desk clerk and he gave me 20% off. Not that I don't appreciate the 20% off but since bed bugs seem to be rampant in the hotel industry it seems to me they would be on top of this and every way possible. I know it's not their fault and anyone can carry them from hotel to hotel. But when they are reported they need to be taken care of. As far as the accommodations the hotel seem to be very nice the beds were comfortable the sheets seemed clean as did the towels and other amenities. Housekeeping seems to be doing their job. It's unfortunate that they are having an issue with bugs.
