Ended up having to call Customer Service, spend an hour on the phone and was told in a very condescending manner that when making a reservation you are to arrive 30 minutes prior to pick up the car. Ended up paying more and having my reservation moved to the airport location to pick up.
Horrible. We had a reservation for 3 weeks for a full size car through a State farm claim. We called 3 weeks ahead, a week ahead, and a day ahead. On the day of all they had to offer was a small compact car. Apparently having a reservation means nothing to this company.
Everything went smooth and quick. The attendent was very helpful in accommodating my need for a sedan with a larger truck and with the most mpg. He walked me to the different cars and popped the trucks so I could decide. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Reserved a car a few months in advance for a 6 PM pick up time, called when I was on my way and was told that they close at 6 PM and that I needed to get there before 6 to pick up the car (when I was nowhere near the rental location).
Terrible car rental, do not use. We placed a reservation two months in advance. Went to pick up at 4pm during the week, one girl was at the counter, the phone was ringing off the wall, people were waiting for service, and she didn't have a car for us. She upgraded us and obviously tried to clean the car herself, because the upgrade was not really ready for rental. She called the boss to ask a question, and never came to help. He obviously just disappeared for the day. Absolutely do not recommend.
The people that staff the Brownsburg Hertz make it a pleasure to visit and be helped by them.
Will never rent from Hertz again.
