Pit Stop is THE place to go for BBQ in Brownsburg. Or fried chicken. Or catfish. Or, how about all of the above, on their buffet spread? Great, attentive service, fantastic staff, and authentic racing heritage atmosphere, all with a down home feel. The bar area is also too notch, with plenty of space to kick back with a few. You won't be dissatisfied dining with friends, or family.
A usual staple in the work lunch rotation, their daily lunch specials are great and they have a good salad bar. Different soups every day, and they have their own BBQ sauces that are pretty tasty. The clam chowder on Friday is fantastic and their Wednesday chicken sandwich special is the best!!
Tried ribs, brisket and smoked sausage. All amazing. Potato salad and Cole slaw. Amazing. Worth a try. Can't wait to come back when I'm in town to try some other things.
I have eaten here several times. Tonight I decided to try the two catfish dinner. The food here has always been good until tonight. The 'catfish' was almost all just breading and cooked to death (hard & crusty). Most of their other meals have been great. This fish...not so much.
Wonderful serving of meats and sauce. The ribs were some of the best I've had, and I've been around. Very casual but friendly atmosphere and servers.
